Emissions Reduction Targets

CardioScan has set the following emissions reduction targets:

  • 25% reduction in emissions by 2026

  • 50% reduction in emissions by 2030

  • Net Zero emissions by 2050

These targets apply to Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions.

Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects are being implemented to reduce emissions.

  • Transition to renewable electricity tariffs where feasible

  • Improve energy efficiency within office operations

  • Monitor and reduce energy consumption

Travel and Transport

  • Reduce business travel through increased use of virtual meetings

  • Encourage sustainable commuting options

Supply Chain and Procurement

  • Engage suppliers in reducing emissions

  • Consider environmental performance in procurement decisions

  • Work with logistics providers to reduce transportation emissions

Monitoring and Reporting

CardioScan monitors emissions annually and reports progress against emissions reduction targets. The organisation will continue to refine its carbon reduction initiatives as part of its sustainability strategy.

Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance.

Emissions have been calculated and reported in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and approved by the leadership of CardioScan Ltd.
