Sleep Services Australia joins CardioScan

Sleep Services Australia, a national provider of home-based sleep studies, specialising in professional treatment for a broad range of sleep problems, has recently joined CardioScan, a global leader in cardiac diagnostics providing clinical reporting for more than 800,000 patients each year, across 11 countries.

Dr. Linda Schachter, founder of Sleep Services Australia, has taken a position as CardioScan’s Medical Director of Sleep Services. Dr. Schachter has also recently opened Vital Sleep, a specialist sleep treatment organisation that supports primary care clinicians across Australia with sleep therapy for their patients.

In Australia, CardioScan will now provide Level 2 and Level 3 Sleep Studies, focused on detection of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA). Measurements include EEG, nasal pressure, oximetry, HR & ECG, respiratory effort, leg movements, & body position.

Sleep study reports are typically returned in 10 business days with all reports signed off by a Sleep and Respiratory Physician, inclusive of recommendations.
